Our service covers all aspects ob buying, restoring and furnishing your property. We do help clients with setting up an Italian bank account, dealing with legal paperwork and where necessary obtaining necessary permissions from local comunes.
We also have a team skilled in all aspects of design and project-management as well as trusted local builders, useful where a property needs renovation or restoration.
A typical renovation project will start with a prospective purchaser having a structural report carried out by one of the independent Structural Egineers we have. He also will give a figure of how much he thinks the total restoring or rebuild will cost.
Once an offer is accepted or after the property has been purchased, then a Preventivo (Quotation), which lists in more detail the costs involved in the project, will be prepared. This will show the cost of each separate area of the work to be undertaken, such as electrical work, plumbing, costs of windows and doors...etc.
Then the necessary planning permissions will be obtained from the Local Comune (Local Authority), before any work can be carried out to the property.
Normally projects have to be overseen by either a Geomatra (Surveyor), Architect or Structural Engineer and they aer paid as a percentage of the total cost to be undertaken. Builders also have to be registered by law, to ensure that they have the required insurance in order to carry out the work.
